Who knew cake smash photography could be so minimal and chic? This vintage white high chair, Ava’s darling dress, the simple cake and sweet Cincinnati studio made all of the elements of this dreamy session come to life.

I had the joy of meeting Ava and her family when I did their newborn portraits a year ago and I’m so honored that they’ve come back to celebrate important milestones with me.

These sisters are so darling! We had so much fun in the studio dancing and twirling and playing with mom and dad.

Speaking of studios-photographers if you are looking for a beautiful, simple space to photograph clients, I highly recommend Gather Cincy! It’s a beautiful Victorian home in Walnut Hills that has been converted into a co-working space. During the weekends it can be rented out for studio space, as well as for events like baby showers and birthday parties. The mother-daughter team who run it have beautiful taste and are amazing to work with!
