Get ready. This little man is incredibly sweet, as was the entire Steed Family.

The Steed family welcomed me into their Hyde Park home with a hospitality straight out of the south! I loved meeting their little man, chatting with his grandparents, and watching new mom and dad thrive as parents.

Still less than a few weeks into parenting, they settled into their roles seamlessly. It was so sweet watching dad soothe his little man and seeing mom make sure he was happy and fed.

I did this session while I was pregnant with my little one, and now that I am newly on the other side I just have to applaud all the new moms and dads that allow me to come into their home during this raw, sleep-deprived season.

This season is messy, it’s unpredictable, your emotions are not as easy to control, and it’s difficult to know when or how it will end. But it gives birth to a beautiful family, it offers time for bonding, and it forces you to slow down. Savor it, mamas!
